A new firmware version has been released for Sentinel V ADCPs. Updates include:
• Improved stability and power efficiency;
• Addition of independent ensemble averaging times for the ping 1 and ping 2 scenarios;
• Migrated testing, planning, deployment, and data recovery software interface module Ready V to HTML5-based code.
This firmware provides substantial improvements. RDI strongly recommends upgrade of systems prior to next deployment. This update has been in development and verification and validation testing for 10 months.
