Seaeye ROVs are the trusted name in all-electric ROVs

Let our experience in sales and support of ROVs guide you in your next ROV purchase. UVS introduced the first ROV to the Australian market in the 1970s and since that time our experience and capability has grown with the industry that we support. UVS has wide experience in many ROV types and this is backed up by a deep understanding of ROV technology and fully equipped workshops for ROV service, upgrade and modification.

True to the UVS philosophy of “supporting what you sell”, UVS technicians attended the first training in the USA on leading edge technology such as microprocessors that were incorporated into the first ROVs in the 1970s. More recently, we have deployed staff to the Seaeye workshops in Fareham where we have assisted with the manufacture and tesing of Cougar and Panther vehicles. Our technicians know Seaeye ROVs ‘from the ground up” and are ready to assist with maintenance, test and training.

UVS ROV Product Line Manager, Francine Watts, has a strong background in ROV technology from her time working at the Saab Seaeye factory in Fareham, UK. Francine said that Seaeye vehicles were clearly seen as the trusted choice for offshore oil and gas ROV applications. “The Seaeye Falcon technology was ground breaking when introduced to the observation and inspection market in 2002”, says Francine “ since then the entire Seaeye range has been continually upgraded and improved particularly as a results of the flow through of Saab ROV technology from Defence applications”. Francine has specified and delivered many full ROV systems (including ROV, instrumentation, Tether Management System, Launch And Recovery System and control cabin) and worked on several existing system upgrades and proposals.
