Strip & Spray provides the complete capability for preparation and painting of new components, or refurbishment and painting of overhauled equipment. Strip & Spray staff have extensive experience in completing painting work to meet the requirements of demanding customers including the Royal Australian Navy and Australian Army.

Advanced Media Blasting

Advanced Media Blasting provides a comprehensive solution for degreasing, chemical cleaning, chemical coating removal, restoration and protection.

Specially designed 100% food grade baking soda is delivered to a surface by means of LOW PRESSURE compressed air at high velocity.

The soft, sharp granules of the baking soda are used to clean, degrease and remove paint from many surfaces WITHOUT or very minimal damage to the surface including bearings and seals.

Many other methods such as water blasting, sand blasting or chemical cleaning, are too abrasive to the surface and are not environmentally friendly.

Other methods can also be hazardous to the user. The blasting media that is used is 100% food grade, biodegradable, non-toxic, non-hazardous, non sparking, non-flammable, water soluble, odourless, eliminates odours, non-irritant to the eyes and skin, non corrosive and mould resistant.

Military Specification Painting

The Strip & Spay painting booth provides a temperature controlled facility for painting equipment up to the size of a car.

Industry standard lighting together with a full down-draft extraction capability ensures that your work can be completed to a high standard in a minimum time. Application of paint schemes to meet military specifications is a specialty of the Strip & Spray service. Objective evidence showing compliance with local and international standards for paint thicknesses and correct coating numbers is provided with all work.

Strip & Spray staff have extensive experience in completing painting work to meet the requirements of demanding customers including the Royal Australian Navy and Australian Army. Painting in naval marine colours including Storm Grey N42 and Synthetic alkydic paint RAL 7040 Window Grey is our speciality. Our focus is on low production numbers with very high paint finish requirements.
